ADD – DROP – WITHDRAW

LATE ADDING A COURSE

Students are allowed to late-add courses before the start of the second class session. The deadlines are as follows:

  • 13-Days past the start of the first course for classes that meet bi-monthly
  • 6-Days past the start of the first course for classes that meet every week

Students must secure permission from the CTI registrar before adding any course(s.)

DROPPING A COURSE

Students may drop within the 14 days after a course starts with a full refund of the course tuition. Application fees and book purchases are not refundable. Students who drop after 14 days are not eligible for a refund. Students must secure permission from the CTI registrar before dropping any course(s.)

WITHDRAWAL

A student may withdraw from a class within the first 4-weeks of a Fall or Spring Term course and are entered as a “W” on the student’s transcript. Students have three weeks to withdraw with a “W” from Summer courses. W’s do not affect the students overall GPA. A student may not drop a class by failing to turn in their coursework. If this occurs, and the withdrawal form has not been submitted properly, the student will be issued an “F” for that class.

All students who desire a refund for classes will need to withdraw within the first 3-weeks of their course start date. Refunds are for tuition only; application fees, materials, book and administrative fees are non-refundable. Students must complete the  Withdrawal_form and upload it to cti@cogbf.org to secure permission from the registrar before withdrawing from any course(s) After downloading the form, type in your information and sign it electronically before emailing in to the registrar.
